Many couples run into problems and are tempted to terminate the relationship, but after professional counseling, they learn new ways to understand each other and new ways to communicate.
Many say they are so glad they gave counseling a try, and they are more in love than ever, and go on to have sound, happy relationships.
Dr.Tom can deal with hurtful issues from the past, halt destructive patterns, break through barriers to achieve greater understanding, connection and intimacy.
The counseling is intentional, focused, and with dedicated effort by the couple, can result in complete repair of the relationship, because the underlying issues are dealt with once and for all, and a variety of new relational skills learned.

What to expect from the marriage/couples counseling
The first session, the counselor will hear the couple share what is happening that brings them to counseling; he will recommend what can be done, and actually begin some constructive therapy.
If he feels that further sessions would benefit, the following sessions will address their hurts or problems, discover the underlying issues layers, and then re-orient the focus from the past to the present and the future.
He will give the couple inventory tests, share the results, and custom design the sessions to incorporate exactly the skills the couple needs to learn, as they move through the stages of recovery.
The sessions are confidential, and will offer hope in the most hopeless of situations.
The basis of Dr.Tom’s therapy is rooted in the Judeo-Christian heritage and scriptures, but the precepts are applicable to all people, and have stood the test of time. Clients do not have to be Christian to benefit from his skills as Licensed Professional Counselor.
